Botsee!
Botsee is a lego wifi controlled robot, thing. It's mechanical bits are a lego midstorms kit with an rcx 2.0 with it's code written in nqc. Stuck on top of that is a webcam and a linux laptop along with the ir transmitter for the rcx. The laptop can see what is on the camera and control the RCX. The security software "motion" captures the webcam frames and makes them available on port 8081. Apache and php run a control panel that triggers nqc shell commands for sending messages to the rcx. It's very clunky and slow, but it does work.

The first attempt could not travel on carpet, much less hold up the laptop. It was conceived as a remote power button pusher, so it had a liftable prod on the front.
